Our English Language programs are developed for students of all levels, from beginning to advanced. We offer an excellent variety of classes, from general English, with structured skill-building and high-interest conversation, to rigorous academic preparation to English for specific purposes, like Business, Law, and Medicine.

Our partners offer Certificate Programs to help give you the skills and competitive advantage to accelerate your career in Business, Project Management, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), or Law. In most of these programs, you will share the classroom with American and other international professionals who have complementary career interests.
In Fall 2020, Certificate programs, except the Paralegal Certificate, will run on a hybrid model, offering a combination of in-person and online classes. This format meets the SEVP requirements for international students, while maintaining strict public health protocols.
Would you like to study alongside University of California, San Diego bachelor’s and master’s students and take credit-bearing courses at UC San Diego or UC San Diego Extension? If you are an excellent student with very strong English language skills, our university credit programs may be a good study abroad option for you. Universities in many countries count UC San Diego and UC San Diego Extension credits towards their own degree programs. Course transferability is at the discretion of the home university.
